Ashcraft Aero Works
Plans, Parts, Kits, and Designs for Homebuilt Aircraft
Shown here are a few examples of the AAW plans set.  We've 3D modeled  the early kit aircraft, adding details and improvements when we drew the plans.

The plans permit each builder to decide how much to build vs buy.

Prints of the wing ribs, sheet metal panels, etc are drawn as life-size layouts which can be printed at any copy/blueprint store to use as cut patterns.

The numerous other mechanical parts are drawn in standard sizes.

Builders receive the plans digitally, allowing them to print small copies for travel or home, and larger versions for the shop.  It's simple to replace a damaged or lost sheet this way, too.
