DR-109 Fuselage Truss Kit                                                                         $5,000
All of the tubes in the truss, pre-notched and pre-bent, ready for tacking with simple jigs.  Comes
with excellent drawings showing each cluster location, section views, the standard three-views,
and an isometric that really clarifies the whole thing .  Produced by VR3, the world's foremost
tubing kit supplier.  The folks at VR3 have put a lot of thought into the order you install the tubes,
and the notching reflects this.  No more wondering how to get the last tube into the cluster.  No
more cheating either.  This kit includes the main landing gear reinforcements and is ready for the
one-piece horizontal stabilizer and removable fin.

DR-109 Tail Tubes Kit                                                                                   $1,500
From VR3, the same supplier as the truss kit, this kit includes all of the steel tubing pre-bent and
pre-notched to fit together per the included prints.  The fit of the VR3 kits is amazingly close.  A
quick cleaning of the tube ends and you're ready to tack and weld.  You can count on this tube kit
to mesh completely with the ribs kits (sold separately).  This tail kit provides a one-piece
removable horizontal tail/elevator assembly and a removable vertical fin and rudder, for a simpler,
stronger overall structure and less weight.

DR-109 Tail Ribs Kit                                                                                       $1,000
We all like the progress of shearing, bending, and notching the tail ribs on our projects, but it gets
pretty irritating to get the narrow end of these ribs to come out beautiful without a lot of hand work
and tweaking. VR3 has it nailed.  These ribs fit super-close with their Tail Tubes Kit.  All ribs are
4130 Chromoly like the tubing, and are ready to tack.  (Maybe a quick wipe down first, but that's
about it).

DR-109 Wing Kit                                                                                            $16,500
All wood parts for the wood main spar, forward and rear spars, formed solid leading edge nose
blocks, aileron cove, pre-cut ribs, all span-wise stringers, gussets, capstrip (both straight and bent
for nose ribs), skins, and ailerons.  All holes and surfaces are done for you, using CNC
woodworking machinery by Bill Scheunemann (Precision Aero-Marine) with experience in many
unlimited aerobatic and antique wing designs.

A separate metal parts kit for the wing is currently under construction, for the aileron hinges,
bellcranks, pitot tube, nutplates, etc.

DR-109 Aileron Kit                                                                                        $2,650
All the wood parts for just the ailerons.  Good practice and first step for the Scheunemann Wing
Kit.  These are the extremely strong wood skinned version.

DR-109 Wing Ribs Kit                                                                                    $2,350
All the ribs are CNC cut, ready for gluing the capstrips, vertical stiffeners, and gussets (included)
in place.  WIth an assembly line in your garage you can finish the nose ribs, main ribs, and the
inboard trailing edge ribs in a long weekend.  Supplied to AAW by the wing kit manufacturer,
Precision Aero-Marine (Bill Scheunemann).  You can use this as the second of the three kits to
complete the wing if you're doing it in stages.

DR-109 Wing Spars Kit                                                                                   $10,200
The wood components for the all-wood box main spar, as originally designed for the prototype,
including the caps, the webs, the internal spacer blocks, and center section.  Also in this kit are
the front and rear spars, the nose block and aileron cove, stringers, and wing skins.  Parts are
ready to line up and glue.  Same excellent Precision Aero-Marine quality as their other kits.  This
is the third of three sub-kits to finish off the wing if you didn't buy the whole wing kit at once.

DR-109 Plans and Serial Number                                                               $600
Based on CAD drawings of the parts originally included in the DR-109 kit, revised to show the
latest design enhancements, these plans are now available to allow homebuilders the choice of
which parts they buy from AAW, have made locally, or make on their own.  Printed on industry
standard paper for the smaller parts, and on full size sheets for each
wing rib, sheet metal skin or
panel.  We will provide these plans free with each fuselage truss or wing kit so you see how to
make the engine mount, miscellaneous brackets and tabs, bellcranks, controls, and the rest. Tail
structures, engine mount, wing structures, ailerons, and other components are also in this plans
package.

If you ruin a sheet in the shop, contact us for free replacements (but you pay the shipping).

DR-109 Builder's Manuals                                                                             $300
Originally provided with the DR-109 kits, these manuals are full of hints, color photos, and other
useful information to supplement the plans.  We have digitized these manuals and photos from the
original hardcopies.  We can provide these in pdf or in binders for the shop.

DR-109 Main Landing Gear                                                                          $2,100
One piece bent aluminum landing gear from Grove Aircraft, renown for their quality and reliability.
Custom designed for the DR-109.  Ready to install.  Mate this with Grove's fabulous parts like their
radius plates, wheels and brakes.

DR-109 Canopy Bubble                                                                                $1,050
Available in clear and 2 tint levels, and low-profile or the same tall version used on the prototype.
The low profile bubble is going to fit nearly anybody.  And most folks like at least the lighter tint,
which they sometimes mistake for clear.  Watch for a new canopy frame design which provides the
increased safety of a fixed windscreen with one (left) hand emergency jettison, and the ability to
taxi with the canopy slid back open a bit for when you're waiting for the Cessna on a 2 mile final.
Manufactured for AAW by Airplane Plastics in Ohio, who make the canopies for many other
popular homebuilts.

DR-109 Engine Mount                                                                         Price on request
Based on the prototype, with additional clearance on aft top tube for crankcase, vac fitting, etc.
All welding complete.

DR-109 Engine Cowl                                                                                 Coming Soon
Based on the prototype, but with cleaned up inlets and a cleaner overall look.
